Welcome To “Discipleship 101”
Discipleship is a life-long adventure of following the Lord. We may not all take the same path, but we do have a common destination. Discipleship should begin at the moment we receive Jesus Christ as our savior. In other words, it should begin immediately following our conversion. We should start to spiritually grow, like a baby takes its first nourishment. It is the decision to follow the Lord and become His disciple. It is an adventure because there is nothing more exciting in this life. We may have run a marathon in less than four hours, or free-fallen from a perfectly good airplane, but even that does not compare to the adventure of living the Christian life. Believers from all over the world take different paths as they discover discipleship. Some have been mentored, others seek out God’s Word on their own, some join Bible Studies, and the list goes on and on. Here, we have a combination of all of the above and more. It is a systematic method that is described in what we call the Discipleship Atlas. You see, we are all heading in the same direction—to live the Christcentered, Spirit-filled life. Will you join us and start this dynamic adventure?

“And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. And everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. And all those who had believed were together, and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions, and were sharing them will all, as anyone might have need. And day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart…”
