Change for Life – Baby Bottle Distribution
Change for Life is a simple way to make a difference in the lives of families facing a crisis pregnancy. On Mother’s Day (May 12th), pick up a baby bottle from the Connection Center. Fill it up with spare change and return it by Father’s Day (June 16th). All funds go directly to the Crisis Pregnancy Center to assist mothers and fathers who are choosing life for their babies. Your change can truly change a life!
Life Groups
What are Life Groups? They are Bible studies and so much more! When you join a Life Group, you’ll be part of a community of people who seek to know God better through His Word and seek to share life with each other. Connections Class
Are you interested in discovering what Life Groups are all about, but aren’t sure where to begin? If so, then our Connections Class is for you! Join us for a 4-week class beginning April 21st that will guide you through the purpose of Life Groups at Parkway and how you can connect with one that is right for you. You can RSVP now and we will contact you with additional information closer to the class start date.
Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is always a sweet time to celebrate at Parkway Church! Join us as we honor our moms and thank God for the precious gift of motherhood! Moms, stop by the Connection Center after church and pick up a bundtini to enjoy on your way home!
Worship
Join us for worship at 10:45 am on Sundays! In our worship services, we celebrate the goodness of God through music and through stories of His faithfulness in our lives. We learn more about who He is and how we can live for Him through sermons that speak His truth into our daily lives. All are welcome!
Sewing From the Heart
Sewing From the Heart, our church sewing ministry, meets monthly to create items for a number of worthwhile organizations! Join us Friday, May 17th from 10:00am – 12:00pm. No sewing skills are necessary. Contact Nancy at 713-417-1525 for more details. Items are made for:
Crochet Ministry
Our Crochet Ministry is a time of fellowship and serving as we make baby blankets for the Crisis Pregnancy Center! Come join us Saturday, May 18th from 9:00am-12:00pm. No experience needed! Bring yarn and a hook if you have them. If not, no worries. We will have extra! Check back here for more details.
Membership Class
Whether you’re new to Parkway Church or you’ve been attending for a while, our Membership Class is the best way to learn how to make that next step towards becoming a part of the Parkway family! During this class, you’ll be able to connect into a Life Group, learn about our church, membership, baptism, opportunities to serve, local and global outreach, and more.
